Salvias not only grow well in the garden but they also make great container plants. Bill Fletcher will talk about a wide range of Salvia species and offer advice on how to grow them and propagate them to protect against winter loss. He will also talk about how he over-winters the tender species.

This class is free and open to the public.

Photographing gardens is a wonderful way to enjoy the art of photography and expand your eye as a gardener. The class will cover techniques to get the best out of each picture no matter the light, subject, or camera. With an emphasis on enhancing photography skills and your knowledge of gardening, we will search for new ways to capture the garden from landscapes to flower portraits. We will put your new skills to work by taking pictures in Joy Creek’s gardens. There will be a review of your photos and a Q&A session.

Bring your camera equipment. All levels welcome.

FEE: $20. Registration required. Limited to 20 attendees.
